Hawaii-West took third place in the second annual Junior Prep Sports Paradise Football Classic with a 43-6 win over American Samoa Saturday evening at Hawaiian Tel Federal Credit Union Field at Aloha Stadium.
The home team recorded seven interceptions and scored 36 unanswered points to cruise to the blowout victory.
Division I All-Hawaii selections Stokes Nihipali-Botelho and Iosefo Ah Ching-Noga each had two picks to lead the Hawaii-West defense.
Kingston Moses-Sanchez, Jaymin Sarono, Grey Ihu, Ryan Ramones and Chyson Morgan all caught touchdown passes for the winning team. The other touchdown by Hawaii-West was on a 1-yard TD run by Elvis Vakapuna.
Raemos Fano's 2-yard pass to Ralpha Taufaasau was the only score for American Samoa.
