Kaiser trips up Kalani, 57-54


 





Kaiser handed host Kalani its first loss of the regular season with a 57-54 win in Oahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division play Friday night.

Trinidee Kahunahana scored 19 points with three made 3-pointers and Taeya Blakeney added 17 to help the Cougars improve to 5-1 in league play.

The Falcons, who won their first five regular season games, were outscored 15 to 9 in the third quarter as they dropped to 5-1.

Kaylie Espinas had 12, Logan Luke had 11 and Heidi Kishaba added 10 to lead Kalani in the loss.
