Punahou finished the regular season with a 38-14 win over visiting Iolani at Alexander Field Friday afternoon.
The Buffanblu, ranked No. 2 in the ScoringLive/Hawaiian Electric Division I Power Rankings, recorded three first-half interceptions to improve to 6-1 and 5-1 in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I standings. They will take on Kamehameha in the first round of the league's single-elimination tournament next Friday.
Iolani dropped to 3-6 and 0-6 in league play and will face Saint Louis in the ILH postseason tournament next weekend.
Punahou led 24-0 at halftime after Ethan Takeyama caught a 35-yard TD pass and Aaron Woo scored on interception return. Satya Mindich and Alakai Mashima also had interceptions for the Buffanblu.
The Raiders were led by senior running back KJ Pascua, who rushed for 108 yard and one touchdown on 27 carries.
