Concussion awareness clinic set for Thursday

The Hawaii Concussion Awareness and Management Program (HCAMP) will be holding a clinic 6:30 p.m. Thursday at McKinley High School's auditorium.

Admission is free, but preregistration is required for those seeking a certification of attendance.

For information, call 956-3807.

The Hawaii High School Athletic Association also announced that Gov. David Ige signed into legislation last week the appropriation of funds to continue concussion monitoring and testing programs for youth sports in Hawaii, which is the first to do so nationally, according to an HHSAA press release.
