Cantillo, Breault make Reds Area Code team


All-Hawaii pitcher Joey Cantillo of Kailua and Kamehameha pitcher Hunter Breault were selected to the Cincinnati Reds Area Code team, according to the Student Sports' website.

The Reds team comprises players from the four corner western states and Hawaii who will be seniors this coming school year.

Cantillo, a left-hander, was 5-1 with an earned run average of 1.23. He led Division I pitchers with 51 strikeouts in 39 2/3 innings.

Breault, a right-hander, was 1-1 with a 2.76 ERA in 30 1/3 innings.
