OIA West makes up half the quarterfinals field

The Oahu Interscholastic Association went 4-1 in the opening round of the Wally Yonamine Foundation Division I state baseball tournament on Wednesday. Of course, Mililani and Kalani was a head-to-head match of OIA teams, thus the one loss.

The OIA West makes up half the field and facing every seeded team. Only third seeded Kailua hails from the OIA East. The Surfriders play the first quarterfinal of the day against defending state champion Campbell, which lost all of its returning starters to graduation.
