Hanalani hands first loss to Saint Francis, 8-7


 





Hanalani snapped a four-game losing streak and gave Saint Francis its first loss in a 8-7 victory at Ala Wai Field Thursday afternoon.

Matthew Tsutsui batted 2 for 3 and drove in two runs to help the Royals improve to 2-4 in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II.

Aidan Koanui tossed five strikeouts and picked up the win in relief of Nicklaus Garcia-Reid. He also drove in two runs in the win.

Freshman Steven Perry got his first start of the season for the Saints (5-1), but was pulled for Zach Alcos midway through the bottom of the third inning.
