Basketball
Kaiser seeking OIA D1 crown after successive D2 titles

Top-ranked Kaiser will be seeking its first Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I boys' basketball championship when it plays Kalaheo Thursday night at McKinley's Student Council Gymnasium.

The Cougars will try to be the second team to win a D1 championship after winning a D2 title the year before. Ironically, the first to do so was Kalaheo (2012 in D2, 2013 in D1).

Meanwhile, in D2, Roosevelt is looking for its first crown since 2010.

Below is a list OIA championship since 1945. Parentheses next to teams denote number of titles. Where there is a "+" sign, that means D1 titles plus D2 titles.
