Punahou overcame a 10-point second half deficit to top Kamehameha in overtime, 53-48 in the second semifinal of the 44th annual Punahou Invitational Tuesday night at the Hemmeter Fieldhouse.

The Buffanblu gave up an 8-0 run to start the third quarter and trailed 46-36 with under four minutes to play in regulation, but used a 10-0 run to force the extra period. They also held the Warriors without a field goal for the final eight minutes of the contest.

Punahou will meet Kaiser in the 16-team tourney final for the second time this preseason. The Cougars edged the Buffanblu, 74-73 in the OIA-ILH challenge on Dec. 12. It was Punahou's lone loss of non-league play.

Chris Kobayashi had 16 points on five made triples and Cole Arceneaux chipped in 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals to lead Punahou.

Jayden Zarriello paced the Warriors with 10 points.
