Kahuku used a 18-9 fourth quarter outburst to rally past University, 47-41, in the opening day of the Hawaii Self Storage McKinley Boys Basketball Classic at Student Council Gymnasium.

Keanu Akina scored all 7 of his points in the final quarter, while Hirk Latu added eight to his game-high 15 points in the fourth. Kieran Spencer tallied 10 points and Brad Anae 9 for the Red Raiders.

University led 21-15 at the intermission and 32-29 after three periods. Lachlan Macleod scored a team-high 11 points and Micah Agcaoili added 9 in the loss.
