ScoringLive Sound Off is a way for fans to share their voice on a hot topic in the Hawaii prep scene. Comments are posted via Facebook and Instagram and are displayed in its raw format with no editing by our staff.
The second edition of ScoringLive Sound Off has fans giving their view on the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I Championship game between Kahuku and Mililani.
This will be the second straight year that the Red Raiders and Trojans have faced off for the OIA title. Mililani won the last meeting 20-7.
Kahuku (10-0) is ranked third in the ScoringLive/Hawaiian Electric Division I Football Power Rankings after a 43-0 win over Farrington in the semifinals.
Mililani (9-1) is coming off a 45-20 win over Waianae in the semifinals. The Trojans' lone loss of the year was in a non-league game against Liberty (Henderson, Nev.).
@dakealohaz1 is excited to see the matchup between the Trojans' offense against the Red Raiders' defense.
@coach_samson is eager to see the battle between Kahuku CB Stokes Botelho and Mililani WR Kalakaua Timoteo.
@_aloha.kana_ believes the Trojans have enough talent to take the title.
@777_kapihe thinks that the game will come to both team’s offenses, which will favor Kahuku.
Kelii Kahananui says that Kahuku’s defense will expose the inexperience of Mililani QB Dillon Gabriel.
@seanskibeat thinks Mililani needs to get the lead early if it wants to win against Kahuku.
Dallas Moffis believes that Kahuku has the potential to win this game convincingly.
@teeeehh_ says the Trojans will be competitive no matter what the score is.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ScoringLive continue its mission to provide the best and most comprehensive coverage of high school sports in the state of Hawaii and beyond.
