Kalani came alive offensively on Homecoming night against Roosevelt, exploding for 407 yards of total offense in a 40-14 win over the Rough Riders.
Seth Tina-Soberano passed for 176 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another, and running back Jaemi Harris piled up 211 yards on and two scores on the ground to pace the Falcons, who improved to 2-3 overall and 2-2 in league play.
Held scoreless through three quarters of play, Roosevelt (2-3, 2-2) battled back to score 14 points in the final quarter off a pair of Shastyn Kekahuna touchdown passes, one to Malu Aipia-Dolan and the other an 85 yard pass to Shane Teruya.
Teruya hauled on six passes on the night for a game-high 163 yards. His counterpart, Kalani's Kai Reed, also put up solid numbers, hauling in six balls of his own for 109 yards and two touchdowns.
