Defending Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I champion Moanalua defeated Kahuku in straight sets, 25-22, 25-15, 25-16, in a semifinal game at Jim Alegre Gymnasium Tuesday evening.
Na Menehune will be seeking their fifth straight league title when they face off against Waianae on Thursday. First serve will be about 30 minutes after the conclusion of the OIA Division II championship game.
Austin Matautia had a match-high 16 kills to lead Moanalua in the win. Seyj Engleman had 10 more, Karson Cruz had nine and Kamalu Kaa had eight kills. Setters Zach Kagehiro and Noah Marasco-Ayau combined for 33 assists and Libero Garrison Gabriel had a match-high 10 digs.
Micha Maiava led the Red Riaders in the loss with eight kills and seven digs.
