Mililani, Kalani win D1, D2 JV soccer crowns, respectively

HAWAII KAI - Tehani Furuta and an own goal lifted Mililani past Pearl City, 2-1, Saturday for the Oahu Interschoalastic Association girls JV soccer title.

The Trojans have won all 14 JV championships since its inception in 2001.

Pipper Collado scored the Chargers' only goal.

In Division II, Kalani edged Waipahu, 1-0, in a game decided by penalty kicks (4-3).
