Kahuku clinches OIA East girls' soccer title


Aisina Farley scored the only goal of the game to lead Kahuku over Kailua, 1-0, Wednesday at Kahuku to capture the Oahu Interscholastic Association Eastern Division girls' soccer crown.

It was the Red Raiders first division title since 2003 and third overall.

Kahuku (8-0-2) earns the top seed and a first-round bye for the 12-team OIA Division I tournament, which starts next week.

Also, earning tournament berths are: Kaiser (8-1-1), Moanalua (7-2-1), Castle (6-2-2), Roosevelt (5-1-4) and Kailua (5-5). Second-place Kaiser also earns a first-round bye.
