Mid-Pacific got the only score of the game off the foot of Tyler Allen in the 76th minute of play to lift the Owls to a 1-0 win over Pac-Five in both teams' regular season openers.

The Owls controlled the pace and possessed the ball by a significant margin over the visiting Wolfpack, but found any real scoring chances few and far between until the goal by Allen.
