The O'ahu Interscholastic Associtation Red Conference football playoffs open Friday with three games at school sites.East No. 6 seed Kaiser (2-6) plays at West No. 3 Wai'anae (3-5) at 6 p.m., West No. 5 Kapolei (3-5) is at East No. 4 Moanalua (4-4) at 6 p.m. and East No. 5 Castle (2-6) travels to West No. 4 Mililani (3-5) at 7 p.m. in a game that will be televised live statewide on OC16.On Saturday, West No. 6 seed 'Aiea (3-5) plays at East No. 3 Kailua (4-4) at 7 p.m.; that game also will be televised live statewide on OC16.In quarterfinals the following week, these are the matchups:Winner of Moanalua-Kapolei at LeilehuaWinner of Waianae-Kaiser at KahukuWinner of Aiea-Kailua at CampbellWinner of Castle-Mililani vs. FarringtonJunior varsity Red first-round games are: Castle at Mililani, 4:30 p.m. Friday and Aiea vs. Kaiser, 4 p.m. Saturday at Kailua. Only the top five from each division qualifies for the JV playoffs.
