HHSAA inducts 32nd class into Hall of Honor

Twelve outstanding senior student-athletes were inducted into the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor at an Awards Dinner Sunday Evening at the Ala Moana Hotel.

The inductees were chosen by a 16-person selection committee of current and former sports reporters, athletic directors and coaches. Each of the inductees will receive a $2,000 scholarship courtesy of Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

The Keynote speaker for the evening was Neil Everett, the co-anchor for the L.A. edition of ESPN's SportsCenter. Prior to ESPN, Everett spent 15 years in Honolulu working at three different stations - KITV, KHNL and KGMB - as a sports director and weekday anchor.
