After day one of the David S. Ishii Foundation/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Girls Golf State Championships Monday, Iolani holds a four-stroke lead over defending champion Punahou in the team standings and the Raiders' Keilyn Ing is atop the leaderboard after an opening-round 68 (four under par).
Ing leads defending individual state champ Mariel Galdiano of Punahou by two strokes headed into Tuesday's final round, which gets underway at 7 a.m. at the George Fazio course at the Turtle Bay Resort.
