Roosevelt was the big winner of the coin toss to break the three-way tie in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red East baseball standings.Moanalua is third and Kaiser is fourth.All of the teams finished with 8-4 records. The three teams were still tied after head-to-head and quality of wins tie-breakers. The final tie-breaker is the coin toss.League baseball coordinator Glenn Nitta said the coin toss was done at the OIA office Wednesday morning with athletic directors from Roosevelt and Moanalua present and Kaiser by telephone.The Rough Riders will draw a first-round bye in the OIA Red Tournament, which begins next Wednesday. The top two teams from each division draws first-round byes.The only other tie was in the Red West, where Leilehua and Waipahu were tied for third with 6-6 records. The Mules and Marauders split their season series, so the next tie-breaker was their quality of wins.
