Rain wreaks havoc on baseball, softball schedules Saturday

At least five baseball games and five softball games on Oahu were postponed due to inclement weather or unplayable field conditions.

One Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball game (Pac-Five vs. Punahou at Central Oahu Regional Park) as well as four Oahu Interscholastic Association baseball games (Kaiser at Castle, Moanalua at Kailua, Pearl City at Campbell, Waipahu at Mililani) were affected. The OIA games will be made up at 3:30 p.m. Monday. The ILH has yet to indicate if Pac-Five and Punahou will make up the game.

Four OIA softball games (Kaiser at Kailua, Mililani at Waipahu, Moanalua at Roosevelt, Leilehua vs. Pearl City at CORP) were also postponsed. Those games will be played at 3:30 p.m. Monday. Leilehua will travel to Pearl City. Also, Iolani and Mid-Pacific had been slated to play at CORP at 5 p.m. Saturday. That game was then moved to Mid-Pacific at 4:30 p.m., but later called due to an unplayable field.
