Three local players ranked in the 2015 Scout 300

Two defensive linemen and an offensive guard landed in Scout.com’s updated Class of 2015 football prospect rankings, just a day after the Class of 2014 inked their letters of intent on National Signing Day.

Punahou defensive end Canton Kaumatule headlined the group, ranked as the 26th best overall prospect and sixth best defensive end in the country. He is also the state’s only five-star prospect.  Kaumatule, an honorable mention in the inaugural ScoringLive Division I All-Hawaii team, has received offers from Stanford, California, Mississippi, Oregon, UCLA, Utah and Washington.

Farrington's Breiden Fehoko is the other local defensive lineman that is ranked amongst the top 300. Fehoko, a first team defensive lineman in the 2013 ScoringLive Division I All-Hawaii team, is ranked as the 68th best prospect in the country. He has received offers from Alabama, Brigham Young University, California, Clemson, Colorado, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, San Diego State, Texas Tech, Utah, Washington State, Wisconsin and Weber State.

Saint Louis' offensive guard Fred Ulu-Perry rounded out the trio as the 277th best prospect around the nation. Ulu-Perry was the lone junior to garner first team offensive line honors on the 2013 ScoringLive Division I All-Hawaii team. He has received offers from Hawaii and Washington State, and more recently Texas Tech.
