It's playoff time in boys basketball.
The Oahu Interscholastic Association Red (Division I) and White (Division II) conference tournaments get underway Wednesday with six first-round games.
In the Red Tournament, East fifth-seed Roosevelt visits West fourth-seed Waianae, West No. 6 Kapolei travels to East No. 3 Moanalua, West No. 3 Radford hosts East No. 6 Kahuku and West fifth-seed Leilehua visits East fourth-seed Kailua. In the White Tournament, East third-seed Castle travels to West two-seed Waialua and East No. 2 Kaiser hosts West No. 3 Waipahu. All games are at 6 p.m.
The top four seeds in the Red and the top two seeds in the White have a first-round bye. The championship games will be played on Thursday, Feb. 13 at McKinley's Student Council Gymnasium. The White title game will be at 5:30 p.m. with the Red final to follow. Both games will be televised live statewide on OC16.
The top six teams from the Red and the top two from the White qualify for the Hawaiian Airlines Boys Basketball State Championships.
