Tasha Inong scored from six yards after direct kick deflected off the goalkeeper and Pearl City upset Campbell, 1-0, in a quarterfinal of the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red girls' soccer tournament Wednesday at the Sabers' field.
In the other quarterfinal at Campbell, Castle beat 'Aiea, 1-0.
The West fifth-seeded Chargers will play Castle in a 5 p.m. semifinal Thursday at Kapolei. Kapolei will play Kaiser in the other semifinal set for 6:30 p.m. Both games will be teleivsed on OC 16.
Pearl City, Castle, Kapolei and Kaiser have clinched Division I state tournament berths.
Campbell will play 'Aiea at 5:30 p.m. and Moanalua will meet Mililani at 7 p.m. in fifth-place semifinals Thursday at Pearl City. The winners will earn the OIA's remaining two state berths.
Inong's score came in the 63rd minute.
It was a costly game for both teams. Campbell's Taylor Cabbab and Pearl City's Cailla Fabro were each issued two yellow cards, which equate to one red, for their little scuffle late in the game. Both were ejected and will have to sit out their respective teams' next games.
