Brandon Kekoa rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries and Nick Motellang had two of Kaimuki's three interceptions last night as the Bulldogs shut out Kalani, 28-0, at Kaiser Stadium.

Kaimuki, No. 10 in the ScoringLive/OC16 Power Rankings, improved to 7-0 overall and 6-0 in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association's White Conference. The Falcons fell to 2-4, 2-3.

The Bulldogs used their size advantage to march 80 yards in 11 plays on their second possession, capped by Kekoa's 6-yard TD run. Keoki Kaiahua's extra point made it 7-0 with 2:25 remaining in the first quarter.
Motellang's first interception near midfield set up their second score, a 22-yard ramble by Kekoa to complete an eight-play, 46-yard drive. Kaiahua's PAT made it 14-0 with 8:49 left in the half.
Siaosi Hala'api'api broke through for a 19-yard touchdown run on the first play of the fourth quarter to help Kaimuki go up, 21-0, and Henry Weller's 2-yard scoring run with 1:07 remaining capped off the game.
The Bulldogs finished with 294 yards rushing, controlling the clock and keeping Kalani's offense off the field.
"That was definitely the game plan," Kaimuki coach Clint Onigama said. "We were aware of how dangerous and how well-coached Kalani is, and we wanted to come out with an aggressive attack. Our defensive coaches did an excellent job, they met and got all three levels to be on the same page."
