Sylas Keb's goal in the 79th minute of play lifted Kaiser to a thrilling 1-0 win over host Moanalua in the nightcap of a soccer doubleheader at Moanalua Stadium.

"We just worked our way up from the back, and one of my guys played it to me, and I just had a shot on goal and luckily it went in. It was more of team effort more than anything," said Keb of the game-winning score.

Na Menehune's best opportunity to get on the scoreboard came in the 71st minute, when a struck ball drew the keeper out of the goal, who was unable to secure it. The loose ball was tapped towards the right corner of the goal by a Moanalua player and appeared to be headed in for a score, but a foul was called prior to the ball crossing into the goal, disallowing the score.

"We're lucky our defernder was there, and he had enough speed to get there," said Kaiser assistant coach Cbuck Baughn.

Kaiser's win over Moanalua propelled the Cougars back atop of the OIA Red East standings at 6-2, tied with Kalani with two games left to play. Moanalua fell to 6-3.
