Waiakea's Wong, MPI's Kiner-Falefa picked in 4th round of MLB draft


Two Hawai'i players were picked in the fourth round of the MLB First-Year Player Draft on Friday.

Waiakea's Kean Wong was picked by the Tampa Bay Rays as the 128th overall selection. He was signed to play at the University of Hawai'i.

Mid-Pacific shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa was picked by the Texas Rangers, the 130th pick. Kiner-Falefa has signed with San Jose State.
