With the help of one-run singles by Titania Akiona-Pasion and Jessica Arata, Campbell broke a scoreless tie to take the lead in the fourth and claim third place in the DataHouse/HHSAA Division I Softball Championships at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.
The game was called after six innings due to time limit, giving the Sabers a third place finish in the tournament for the second time in three years.
Sabers starter Summer Palipti pitched six innings, throwing a one-hitter with just two walks, while her counterpart Cyanne Fernandez allowed three runs on three hits, struck out five and walked two in the loss for Na Menehune.
