Defending state champion Kamehameha and last year's state runner-up Punahou cracked PrepVolleyball.com's top 100 national-ranking preseason list.According to the website's press release, the Warriors are ranked 15th and the Buffanblu are ranked 20th. Moanalua was among a handful of teams that was given consideration that did not crack the top 100.Kamehameha returns most of its key contributors from last season, including Gatorade Player of the Year Misty Ma'a. Punahou has four returning starters, including Hawaii recruit Tai Manu-Olevao and junior Carly Kan.The Warriors and Buffanblu open the Interscholastic League of Honolulu season Aug. 30. The match is 6 p.m. at Punahou.Meanwhile, Moanalua will travel to Kahuku Tuesday in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Red East season opener. First serve is set for 5 p.m.
