Punahou's Velasquez leads ILH D1 basketball all-stars




Punahou senior Nicholas Velasquez was selected as Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I boys' basketball Player of the Year, according to the ILH.

Maryknoll's Kelly Grant, who led the Spartans to their first league title since 1987, was named Coach of the Year.

Also, Kamehameha's Blayze Liilii was named Player of the Year for Division I-AA. Kamehameha's Jayson Kauwenaole was named Coach of the Year.
