Iolani rallied with a strong comeback in the fifth inning to overtake Kamehameha, 12-7, in an afternoon game at Central Oahu Regional Park.

Kamehameha held an early one run lead, but Iolani scored 3 runs in the top of the second to make the score 3-1. The Warriors added a run at the bottom of the second and took the lead back from Iolani in the third inning with two more runs, 4-3.

The Raiders turned the tides in their favor in the fifth, plating three unanswered runs to lead 7-5, then added three more runs in the top of the seventh to come away with the win.

Iolani’s Christian Donahue had a great all around game, going 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles, scoring three runs and adding two RBIs. He also stole 2 bases.
