Co-West champion Kapolei and East champion Kalani are the top seeds for the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red West boys' soccer tournament.The 12-team tournament, which pits the top six teams from each division, opens Tuesday.At Pearl City, West fifth seed 'Aiea will play East fourth seed Kaiser at 5:30 p.m. and East sixth seed Castle will take on West third seed Pearl City at 7 p.m.At Kahuku, East fifth seed Kailua will take on West fourth seed Campbell at 5:30 p.m. and East third seed Kahuku will battle West sixth seed Radford at 7 p.m.First-round losers are eliminated from the tournament.In Wednesday's quarterfinals at Kapolei, East second seed Moanalua will play the winner of Pearl City-Castle at 5:30 p.m. and West top seed Kapolei will play the winner of Kaiser-'Aiea at 7 p.m.At Kaiser, West co-champion and second seed Mililani will play the winner of Kahuku-Radford at 5:30 p.m. and East top seed Kalani will play the winner of Campbell-Kailua at 7 p.m.The semifinals will be Thursday and the championship Friday, both at Kaiser.The top six teams qualify for the Division I state tournament.In the White, East champion Kalaheo and West champion Wai'anae draw first-round byes for the six-team tournament.In opening round games Tuesday at Nanakuli, East second seed Farrington will play West third seed Waipahu at 5:30 p.m. and West second seed Nanakuli will play East third seed McKinley at 7 p.m.In semifinals Wednesday at Kailua, the winner of Farrington-Waipahu will play Wai'anae at 5:30 p.m. and Kalaheo will meet the winner of Nanakuli-McKinley at 7 p.m.The championship is Jan. 25 at Kaiser.
