OIA girls' soccer tournaments kickoff Tuesday


The O'ahu Interscholastic Association soccer tournaments begin Tuesday at various sites.

At Kapolei, West fifth-seed Campbell will play East fourth-seed Kahuku at 5:30 p.m. West third-seed Kapolei will play East sixth-seed Kailua at 7 p.m.

At Waianae, West sixth-seed 'Aiea will play East third-seed Castle at 5:30 p.m. and West fourth-seed Waianae will take on East fifth-seed Roosevelt at 7 p.m.

First-round winners advance to the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

At Mililani, the winner of Kapolei-Kailua will face East second-seed Moanalua at 5:30 p.m. and the Western Division champion Trojans will play the winner of Kahuku-Campbell at 7 p.m.

At Kaiser, West second seed Pearl City will play the winner of Castle-Aiea at 5:30 p.m. and Eastern Division champion Kaiser will play the winner of Waianae-Roosevelt at 7 p.m.

The winners advance to the semifinals Thursday at Kaiser. The championship is set for Friday at Kaiser.

The top six Red Teams qualify for the Division I state tournament.

The six-team White tournament gets underway Tuesday at Nanakuli.

McKinley plays Radford at 5:30 p.m. and Farrington takes on Nanakuli at 7 p.m.

The winners advance to Wednesday's semifinals at Kailua. West top seed Leilehua will play the winner of McKinley-Radford at 5:30 p.m. and East top seed Kalaheo will play play the winner of Nanakuli-Farrington at 7 p.m.

The winners advance to the championship Friday at Kaiser.

The top four teams advance to the Division II state tournament.
