Player of the Year: Kalaweloilehua Chock, Kamehameha, Jr., OH/OPP

The 5-foot-10 Chock racked up some eye-popping numbers during her junior campaign in the fall. She recorded double-digits kills in no fewer than 12 matches, including a string of five consecutive matches with at least 20 kills. Chock recorded five double-doubles on the year, including an 18-kill, 12-dig effort in a sweep of previously-undefeated Baldwin in the quarterfinal round of the state tournament. Chock put down 12 kills, eight digs and two aces in a semifinal win over Moanalua the following night and closed out the Warriors' run to a second straight state title with 17 kills and nine digs in a four-set win over top-seeded Iolani in the championship game. Chock was named most outstanding player of the state tournament and first team All-ILH and finished the year with 232 kills and 120 digs.

Coach of the Year: Myles Shioji, Hawaii Baptist

In his 19th season as head coach of his alma mater, Shioji guided the Division-II Eagles to a 13-2 record that culminated with a sweep of Le Jardin in the state final. Shioji helped HBA claim its first league championship since 2016 and its first state title since 2015. The Eagles rode the right arm of standout outside hitter Marisa Nakata, who was most outstanding player at the state tournament in early November and later tabbed as ILH D2 Player of the Year. Shioji, who has coached HBA to all five of its state championships in program history, was selected by his peers as ILH Coach of the Year.

ScoringLive's All-Hawaii teams honor standout Division I and II athletes statewide. Selections are made by SL staff in consultation with media and coaches.
