Offensive Player of the Year: Deizha Lyn Jacinto, Waipahu, Sr., F

The senior striker capped off her decorated prep career by scoring a Division-I best 20 goals this year, including three in the state tournament. Jacinto, who has led the Marauders in goals scored in each of her four varsity seasons, tallied three hat tricks over the course of the season and found the back of the net in 12 of her team's 16 games. She was tabbed All-OIA West Player of the Year and helped Waipahu reach the semifinals of the D1 state tournament. Jacinto, who is signed to play next year at South Dakota State, is a two-time All-Hawaii selection.

Defensive Player of the Year: Xeyana Salanoa, Punahou, Sr., GK

The senior goalkeeper saved her best for last. Salanoa, a three-year starter between the posts for the Buffanblu, recorded three of her four saves in the state championship match in the final 40 minutes, including two crucial saves in the waning minutes. Punahou allowed only five goals all year and posted eight wins by shutout. While the Buffanblu relied upon an incredible amount of depth amongst their field players, Salanoa's presence in goal was a constant for the three-time state champions. She was also named to the all-tournament team of the state tournament. Salanoa, who is signed with Western Oregon, is a three-time All-Hawaii selection.

Coach of the Year: Brent Murakami, Waipahu

The Marauders posted a 9-1 regular-season record and a 13-3 overall record this year. They reached the OIA Division I title game and a few weeks later registered their first-ever state tournament wins on their way to a semifinal appearance. Murakami's squad was locked in a scoreless tie at halftime with Kamehameha before the Warriors tallied four-second half goals. Waipahu put four players on the All-OIA West First Team and Murakami was tabbed league Coach of the Year.
