On to the semifinals the Kailua Surfriders go.
Captains Connor Reece, Brody Person and Kai Fraser all scored a goal to help Kailua get past Pearl City, 3-1, in the quarterfinals of the OIA Division I boys soccer tournament Tuesday night at Radford's John E. Velasco Stadium.
The Surfriders (8-1-2) advance to play Campbell (8-1-2) on Thursday in the first semifinal at Kapolei's Alvin Nagasako Sports Complex. Kickoff is slated for 5:30 p.m.
The Chargers (7-4-1), who got a goal from Katin Oh to tie the match in the 41st minute, will host Kaiser (7-2-3) Wednesday night with a state berth on the line.
