Noah Takahata dropped 25 points and Mycah Lucas added 11 as Hanalani pulled away from Iolani II, 55-43, in an ILH Division II opener for both teams. 

The Royals edged the Raiders by a point heading into the fourth, but Hanalani (1-0) poured on 22 points in the final stanza to pull away for good.

Reef Hangai led the Iolani II (0-1) with 13 points and Corbin Peleiholani-Kuhns added eight. 

Hanalani takes on Damien on Friday, Jan. 5 while Iolani II hosts Kamehameha II on the same night.
