Quarterback Blaise De Asis passed for 266 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for another to help Waipahu rout McKinley, 47-2, Friday night at the Masa Yonamine Athletic Complex.

The Marauders improved to 1-1 in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I Red, while the Tigers fell to 0-3 and 0-2.

De Asis completed 16 of 27 passes for 266 yards with TD passes of 16 yards to Kamakani Kahalewai and 10 and 32 yards to Andrew Simanu. De Asis also scored on a 13-yard run.

Also with rushing TDs were Gavin Quelnan (10 yards), AJ Contado (10 yards) and Gavin Marquez (1 yard).

Waipahu took a 26-0 lead into the half.  McKinley did not score until the fourth quarter when Dyllon Enriquez tackled a runner in the end zone.
