Kapolei's Pauline named Red West Player of the Year




Kapolei junior pitcher Winona Pauline was named O'ahu Interscholastic Association Red West Player of the Year.

The OIA submitted the all-stars after a voting by the division's coaches.

Pauline was 8-2 with a 2.12 earned run average in leading the Hurricanes to a Western Division title. She also hit .351.

Kapolei's Tony Saffery was picked as Coach of the Year.
