Puns, Warriors sweep to setup all-ILH title game


 



Punahou and Kamehameha-Kapalama each posted straight-set victories to set up an all-ILH title match for the Division I championship.


Punahou def. Kamehameha-Hawaii, 25-20, 25-16, 25-20


Led by Benjamin Lam's 12 kils and 7 blocks, the Buffanblu topped Kamehameha-Hawaii, 25-20, 25-16, 25-20.

Brandon Pitzer added 9 kills and Larry "Tui" Tuileta put up 8 kills, 2 blocks, a team-high 12 digs and 2 aces.

The Warriors from the Big Island got 9 kills each from Kaehu Kaaa and Daniel Aina Jr. in the loss.

Kamehameha def. Moanalua, 25-17, 25-13, 25-18

Kamehameha-Kapalama took care of OIA champion and second-seed Moanalua in three-sets, 25-17, 25-13, 25-18.

Warrior opposite Micah Christenson led all players with 15 kills, and also added 3 blocks and 4 aces.

Richard Harpole put down 11 kilss and had 4 digs to lead Na Menehune.
