Kalaheo built a lead early and withstood a furious fourth quarter rally by Farrington to top the Govs for the fourth time this season, 53-46, eliminating the defending Division II champions from state tournament contention.

Jordyn Reindollar scored a game-high 16 points, all in the first half, to lead the way for the Mustangs, who led 33-19 at the half and by as many as 17 early in the 3rd period.

Farrington surged back into game, ignited by a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Mikey Kleman to close out the third quarter, and trimmed the lead to 46-43 with 1:43 left in regulation.

But Kalaheo made the most of their trips to the charity stripe in the closing moments, extending the margin back out to seven to put the game out of reach.

Kleman had 13 points, including 2 three-pointers to lead Farrington.
