Castle's Lilio captures OIA Red East's top honor


Castle senior Joshell Lilio was selected as the Oahu Interscholastic Association Red East Player of the Year.

The OIA submitted the all-stars, who were picked by the division's coaches.

Kaiser's Ernest Noborikawa and Moanalua's Tommy Lake were named Coaches of the Year.

Also on the first team are: Kahuku's Pati Anae and libero Temutisa Te'o; Moanalua's Katiana Ponce and Erin Perez; Kaiser's Haley Durham and setter Jolie Au; and Castle's Ku'ulei Lynch. All are seniors, except for Anae and Lynch, who are juniors.
