Campbell's Ernst is West Player of the Year




Campbell junior post Cassie Ernst was named O'ahu Interscholastic Association Western Division girls' basketball Player of the Year.

Coaches from the Western Division picked the all-stars, which were submitted by the league.

Kapolei's Jesse Baugh was named the division's Coach of the Year.

Ernst, a junior, was third in the OIA Red in scoring, averaging. 16.6 points per game.

Joining Ernst on the first team are: Kapolei's Kawehi Hagi and Toe Motu, Pearl City's Sabrina Angle and Mililani's Kellie Sakai.
