Four different Spartans scored in double figures to lead Maryknoll past Moanalua, 60-38, in Thursday's nightcap of the Matsumoto Law Group McKinley Girls Basketball Black and Gold Classic.

Madison Guillermo scored 11 of her 16 points in the first half and drained four 3-pointers to lead the Spartan scoring.

Isabella Arrisgado added 13 and a pair of 3s and Hailey Perez and Khansas Tuisamatatele rounded out the double digit scoring with 10 each.

Maryknoll (2-0), who dropped down to Division II for the season, built a 35-16 lead over Na Menehune at halftime.

Moanalua (0-2) played without point guard Braylee Riturban, who was recovering from a knee injury.

Shailoh Liilii led all scorers with 20 points and sank eight of her 14 free throw attempts in their second defeat on the season.

The Spartans finished 11 for 14 (78.6 percent) from the free throw line while Na Menehune shot 14 for 26 (53.8 percent).

Both teams have Friday off and resume play on Saturday. Maryknoll faces Maui at 12 noon and Moanalua takes on four-time defending state champion Iolani at 6 p.m.
