It will be an all ILH final for the DataHouse Division I Softball Championship Thursday night.
Ailana Agbayani homered and drove in four runs while throwing seven strikeouts in five innings of relief to power Iolani over Mililani, 10-4, in the second semifinal at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium Wednesday night.
The Raiders move on to face Maryknoll for the state title in the first state championship game since 2013 that did not feature an OIA West team.
Allie Capelo doubled twice and pitched two scoreless innings with two strikeouts and Kaylee Matsuda batted 3-for-4 with a double to round out the Iolani players with multiple hits.
Iolani took a 4-0 lead after the top of the third inning before a two-out rally by the Trojans culminated in a three-run homer by Jackie Kirkpatrick to make the score 4-3.
The Raiders held a one-run advantage through the next two innings before a fielding error in the outfield with two outs allowed three runs to score in the top of the sixth.
Dani Monroe was tagged with the pitching loss for the Trojans, going 5 and 2/3 innings. She allowed eight runs, with only three being earned, and struck out three while walking three.
Ashley Ogata helped get the final four outs, but not before allowing two runs in the top of the seventh.
The Trojans racked up 12 total hits in the loss, with Kolbi Kochi and Kaui Garcia garnering three apiece.
