Waialua leveled its record to 2-2 with a 21-15 win over Kalaheo in front of a home crowd.

James Zara's 65 yard kickoff return for touchdown was the difference in back and forth affair. Zara also contributed offensively, chipping in four receptions for 60 yards.

The Bulldogs led early on a one yard plunge by Ezekiel Sheridan before the Mustangs tied the score up on the first of two Weber one yard runs in the second.

Waialua took the lead back in the third quarter on a 13 yard pass from Blazen Benz to Gino Coyle, but Kalaheo answered with a Weber rushing score and took the lead when Weber found the end zone on the two point try.

That set up Zara's heroics that proved to be the game winner.

Weber threw for 221 yards and rushed for 51 more. His favorite receiver on the evening, Isaac Akiu, hauled in five passes for a game-high 114 yards.

Bulldogs' QB Blazen Benz had 191 yards of total offense, which included 106 through the air and another 85 on the ground.
