After taking a while to figure out its rotation, Kapolei came together against Aiea to pick up its first win of the season.
Six different players put down multiple kills for the Hurricanes in their 25-15, 25-20 win over visiting Na Alii Tuesday night in an OIA West match.
Damien Alvarez led the way with a match-high 11 kills and two blocks, Kapena Libokmato had eight kills and match point and Titan Newman added five kills to round out the top kill leaders for Kapolei (1-1). Elijah Monderen-Wofford directed the offense with 28 assists and libero Donavan-Eli Leopoldo-Vierra recorded a match-high 13 digs with three kills.
Bronson White-Hikalea led Aiea (0-3) in the loss with six kills.
