Farrington is in the big dance.

The Governors jumped out to an early 8-0 lead as they bested Hawaii Prep in a wire-to-wire 58-44 Division II state semifinal win Friday night at Kalani's Earl C. Holmer Gymnasium.

Farrington also outscored Ka Makani by nine in the fourth quarter to advance to Saturday's Snapple D2 Boys Basketball Championships against Damien at the Stan Sheriff Center. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m.

Raefe McEnrote had a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds to power the Governors in the win.

Leading Ka Makani in the loss was Kelsen-Jaye Walker with 16 points.
