Jonah Faasoa threw two touchdowns passes as Kaimuki rallied past Roosevelt for a 13-10 win at Ticky Vasconcellos Stadium Friday night.

Faasoa's 37-yard TD pass to Elijah Lemalu eight seconds into the fourth quarter helped the Bulldogs improve to 2-0 overall and in OIA Division II play.

Roosevelt suffered its first loss of the year and dropped to 2-1 and 1-1.

Lemalu was also Faasoa's favorite target, hauling in six receptions for 135 yards. Jonah Stephens led Kaimuki on the ground with 15 carries for 107 yards.

Faasoa's 27-yard TD pass to Filipo Afoa helped Kaimuki take an early 7-0 lead, but Roosevelt came right back with a 34-yard field goal by Mason Morishige and a 1-yard TD run by Myka Kukahiwa to give the Rough Riders a 10-7 lead at the half.

The score would remain the same until Lemalu caught the go-ahead TD.
