Another day, another shutout win.
Kaiser beat host Castle, 9-0, Wednesday afternoon in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I-East contest to start league play with a 2-0 record.
It was the Cougars' second straight 9-0 victory.
Kaiser's Pono Lyman went six innings with seven strikeouts and allowed just one hit to pick up the pitching win.
Christian Reasoner batted 2-for-5 with a double and scored three times while Antonio Omphroy drove in three runs to lead the Cougars at the plate.
Matthew Mukai had the lone hit for the Knights, who dropped to 1-1.
Baron Arquero took the pitching loss for Castle.
